It was a bit difficult to keep up with Duncan as he led their small group down the street. It might have been Lillet’s imagination, but there seemed to be even more people flooding Kalm than before. She knew that the festival would be busy, but this was ridiculous. At least they didn’t have far to go.
Lillet breathed a little sigh of relief when they made it to the Costa Delicious. It looked like a nice little restaurant. The atmosphere was lively, but not nearly as chaotic as the town outside. It even had a karaoke machine. The current singer wasn’t very good, but the thought of the machine there was kind of neat. She looked back and forth between the singer and the decorations before following the waitress to their table and grabbing a menu.
“This place seems nice,” Lillet commented once all three of them were sitting down. She opened up her menu and started running over her options. ‘Spicy, spicy, spicy,’ she mentally listed off as she scanned over each of her options. Duncan was right. A lot of the food here was indeed spicy. Not all of it though. ‘Hmm, I think I’ll have the coconut shrimp,’ Lillet decided as she folded up her menu and set it on the table in front of her. She returned her attention to Manuel and Duncan. “So, what do you think of the festival so far?”

The trip didn't take long, but it was still difficult, there were too many people here still. Manuel expected it to thin out as the festival went on, but apparently, everyone was having more fun than he thought. Costa Delicious, it wasn't the fanciest place he had been, but it had a karaoke machine so Manuel considered it a bonus. He had felt like singing for awhile, but out in the street he would of seemed weird.
The singer at the moment wasn't great...in fact it was pretty bad. Manuel was a little worried that the man would hog the machine all night, but hopefully that wasn't the case. Looking down at the menu Manuel saw a lot of spicy foods, hopefully he hadn't made the wrong choice here, Manuel for one didn't have a problem with spicy food, but Lillet had let them know she did have a problem. Spicy Maui, delicious spicy fish, always a good option for Manuel.
"Pretty fun so far, we have been on the job for a lot of it, but it was pretty easy to find ways to stay entertained."

"I probably would have had more fun if..." VIcks stopped himself, his dislike for meat head SOLDIER's was probably not appropriate converstation for lunch. Nor was his fdsire to kill giant dinosaurs.
"If Manuel wouldn't have ruined my streak!" Duncan added. "I almost won a prize!" he said chuckling.
The waitress was a dark skinned young woman in her twenties, she was wearing a neon green bikini top and a high cut black skirt.
"Hi! My name is Chicka and i'll be serving you all today, could I start you all off with something to drink?" She asked with a toothy smile.
"Yes mam I would like a few shots of tequila please." Duncan said, hoping the drinks would loosen him up for a bit.

“Your old purse if fine. No matter how much you beg or plea. I will not pay for it. Buy it yourself, Myra my love.” Myra sticking up her nose at me was not amusing Jin, but none the less; Jin mood was still fine. Myra was so spoil, but Jin can’t complain to much about it. For the fact he sort of cause this problem.
Jin look at Myra and Jin gave roll his eyes on her. “You’re not getting another wine. I did not bring to much money with me today. You’re going have to tough it out, once in your life,” said Jin without realizing he was getting annoy from Myra being so spoil. Jin eyes were getting blind from his own hair.
Jin seeing only brown threads for a few moments. Jin lift his hand and move his hair out of the way a bit so he could see everything clearly again. “Order something eat, my love. Maybe some ice-cream will help you,” said Jin, while yawning a bit. The bar seems to be getting busier and figure time was almost up.
Soon, his false image would be gone soon. Jin had been keeping his eye on this unknown force and had figure a few SOLDIER would rebel. With the other factions around. He could destroy a few forces. To Jin, it was like one big checker board to him. Jin wonder about his marriage. How would Myra act toward his real image?

“Cola would be nice,” Lillet replied to the waitress. Nothing alcoholic for her. She had only gone drinking once in her life, and that was because some of the other villagers had insisted that she go with them. As it turned out, she was a complete lightweight when it came to booze. Lillet wasn’t too keen on the taste either.
The girl chuckled at Duncan. “Had your eye on something in particular?” she joked. Lillet pictured Kirielle hugging the teddy bear she would send her; she then tried to imagine Duncan doing the same thing. Lillet refrained from laughing again as the image bounced around in her mind before disappearing.
Lillet raised her arms above her head, stretching them leisurely. “At least there’s enough going on here to keep boredom away,” she commented. She opened her mouth to speak again but was interrupted by the applause that sounded throughout the restaurant. Apparently the guy at the karaoke machine had finally finished his song. Lillet joined in with the crowd and decided to clap softly as well, despite the fact that she hadn’t thought he was very good.

"Hey now Duncan, don't be using excuses now. Just because you got some aim problems isn't my fault." Manuel joked. "Yeah, Cola works for me too." Manuel ordered from Chika. It didn't seem like such a good idea to be drinking again now anyway, he had done enough for the day. There was a lot to do here, boredom didn't seem to hang around long at all.
Manuel jumped a little when the crowd started applauding, seems the karaoke man was done finally. "'Who is up for karaoke?" Manuel smiled as he jumped out of his seat and headed to the karaoke machine. It had been awhile since he had the chance to sing, there weren't that many opportunities. He wasn't that great, but he wasn't all bad either, and Manuel didn't think the people of the Costa Delicious would care much if he was a little bad. They didn't mind the last guy after all.

The waitress nodded and left to go fetch the drinks. Vicks sighed with relief as the singer stopped his terrible racket.
"I was going for this bunny... I was going to give it to a little girl back in the slums." He wasn't really lying, if he'd actually one something he'd have donated to a charity. But he figured they would think he was.
Vicks laughed at the thought of Manuel singing, he shrugged and decided to encourage him to get a good laugh. Besides the place was so busy he figured that it was going to be awhile before they saw the waitress again...
"Go ahead Mr. Lopez, I will sit this one out." Vicks said, grinning.

Myra pouted. “But I want a new purse. Jin, you know that I need a new purse.” She grinned at him, knowing what would get him. “You don’t want to make me upset because I may become absentminded and accidently tell someone from AVALANCHE your plans.” She reapplied her lipstick. “The men are much more attractive there anyways,” she muttered under her breath. She got the bartender. “Sir, I would like a cocktail instead,” she said, ignoring Jin’s rejection. “Also, I would care for something to eat. Maybe some caviar or a steak.” She was now intentionally trying to anger her husband. No one rejected Myra Shinra without consequences. She looked at Jin. “At least be useful and fetch me a better chair. This one is uncomfortable.”

"Good luck Manuel," Lillet cheered. Karaoke sounded like fun, but there was absolutely no way she would have been comfortable singing in front of so many people. It's not like her singing was necessarily bad. She was about average when it came to that. She just never did well in front of crowds. Her nerves and shy nature would have overtaken her in no time flat. It was alright though; Lillet didn't mind watching from the background.
While she was waiting for the song to start up, Lillet turned back to Duncan after she had taken in his words. "So you have someone special you were planning on giving the prize to?" the girl mused. Now she felt a little bad for laughing.Once again her thoughts were brought back to Kirielle, Grandma, and the rest of Mideel. Was it normal to feel this homesick after leaving the nest? How long would it last? Lillet knew she had better get used to it if she planned on seeing the entire world.
'Bleh, enough. I'll have more time to think about home when I write my letter,' she mentally scolded herself. She was supposed to be having fun today. There was no room to be depressed or homesick on a day like today. "Think he'll be any good?" she asked Duncan, her eyes moving back to Manuel as he continued to go for the karaoke machine.

The air suddenly became tense and thick. A large tremor hit the town. Anything that wasn’t pinned down to the ground is knocked over to the ground. Many of the civilians ran under tables or find somewhere to keep their balance. Moans and screams cover Kalm. Never before have they gotten any kind of earthquake.
This was not normal. On the radio of every Shinra troop is getting nothing but static. A single message makes it through. “Something....is...a large...what is this?! There....many...them.” It ends there. Shinra troops on guard at the gates are chaotic. Some of them have fallen onto the ground from the tremor.
The earthquake last for ten minutes before stopping. The troops at the entrance are unable to get hold of anyone at the first and second line of defense. Suddenly, a large monster with wings flying in the air. Being at the size of 35 feet tall. It skin being all blue. Having large hands with claws. Civilians start to run in panic.
It open it mouth and a white light appeared. A man appeared in front of the blue monster. Wearing sleeveless purple turtle-neck sweaters and purple baggy pants, with leather accents that hold on their armor in place and holding a large buster sword. Having dark blond hair and having a five o’clock shadow beard. Tan skin and brown eyes.
The man being on ten feet away from the monster, in mid air, known as Albert Saint. The beam shot down and the man raised his left hand and took the beam. The beam explodes the moment it his hand. The man was un harm. He raised his fist and throws a fist. Throwing out a shock wave like attack in shape of a fist. Hitting the monster dead on and turning it into dust instantly.
Then, more monsters start to appear. This time an army of monsters on every side of the town. Albert heads to the back of Kalm and defend off. Ace, defending the front. Two monsters jump into a bar and having two heads and the body of a dog. Looking directly at the Vice president of Shinra and his wife. Everyone else in the bar scattering and trying to make it out alive. What will they do? Run or fight?
A ten foot monster with 6 arms burst into a restaurant. Many of the people within the restaurant runs, while a few are scared to move. The monster looks directly at young girl, and two grunts of Shinra. How will they react to this?

Manuel had chosen a song and opened his mouth to sing, almost instantly, it seemed like the world was shaking. Manuel was thrown off his feet, and into a wall, rolling out of the way of a table as it was sent into the wall he was just against. People were scattering across the floor of the resteraunt, franticly trying to find safety. All Manuel heard over the radio was loud and almost painful static, mixed with screams.
When the shaking finally stopped Manuel looked straight to the table where his friends were sitting, fearing what might have happened to them. He didn't have much time to search though as a large six armed monster broke through the wall, and was staring intently at something. Manuel followed it's gaze to Lillet, and prepared himself to join a fight.
Manuel slipped his hands into his pockets and spread his legs apart, before rushing off to stand beside Lillet, prepared for a fight.

"I was just going to give it to a church in the slums, they would get it to a deserving little girl with no one watching over her... who knows maybe she won't grow up to be a -- at the Honeybee." Vicks said harshly, he bit his tounge after saying it because he relized how awful he must have sounded.
"I don't know if..." was all Vicks could get out when the ground began to rumble. He held Lillet, not as some freak romantic attempt but to hold her up and stabilize them from falling down. He did catch himself look at her bright green eyes as he grasped her, but his own eyes were excited and as soon as the rumbling stopped and the monsters busted in he quickly let go and grasped his rifle.
He wasn't wearing his helmet, so he couldn't check the radio. He also couldn't use his targeting system, which he didn't like to use anyways. He pulled a magazine out and locked and loaded it into his rifle. The last thing he did was take a step in front of Lillet to protect her.
The six armed monster was a strange sight, and he didn't give a care in the world what was going on. It was killing time... Vicks raised his rifle carefully up and fired a single well aimed shot, aiming his sights at the monsters eye.
He took a knee, it was more stable to fire from their and he would be able to maintain a flexible mobility. He slowly squeezed the trigger and shot, the chamber roared and the rifle violently jerked into his armpit.
In summary Vicks stands in front of Lillet to cover her [Endurance]He drops to a knee to increase accuracy [Gunner] He takes a well aimed shot at the monsters eye [Gunner]

Lillet cringed at Duncan’s words. She remembered passing the Honeybee Inn while wandering through Sector 6 with Manuel. Apparently he had been right to warn her about that place. Were the girls there really that bad? She now had yet another reason to stay away from the market.
The girl’s eyes moved from Vicks to Manuel. It looked like he was about to start his song. Maybe it was one she knew. Whether it was or not, Lillet would probably never know. A large tremor hit the bustling town right before the music started. ‘What’s going on? Is the Lifestream gushing to the surface?!’ she thought as the tiny little restaurant shook. It wasn’t too uncommon back in Mideel. She had almost forgotten that she wasn’t there anymore with the new found chaos. The thought quickly disappeared.
“Woah!” Lillet yelped as she nearly fell over. Duncan grabbed her arm and held her steady until the tremors finally subsided. “Thanks,” the girl murmured after she regained her balance. What was that? It might have felt like a normal earthquake, but she thought there was something off about it. There was something about it that didn’t sit right with her. That feeling was confirmed when Lillet heard even more screaming from outside. A large monster with six arms burst into the restaurant mere moments later. Oh boy...
Vicks and Manuel were quick to take up battle positions, with one in front of her and the other beside her. “I appreciate your concern, but if you stand right in front of me I might accidentally hit you instead of the monster,” Lillet said lightheartedly with a shrug of her shoulders. She took a step to the side of Vicks and faced their target. With a single motion, she had tossed her cape aside and unsheathed her sword, Silver Strike. It didn’t seem like a good idea to get in close to the beast, not yet anyway. The girl decided to hang back with the guys for now.
With her blade in her right hand, Lillet held up her left hand and pointed her open palm in the direction of the monster. Her left arm was engulfed in a brick red colored light. A small ball of flames materialized in front of her open palm before shooting forward at high speed. Lillet aimed this attack at one of the monster’s legs in hopes of reducing its mobility. Just because she preferred swords over magic didn’t mean she wasn’t going to put her material to good use.

Jin wasn’t sure what was going. The bar that was filled funs and laugher changed to screams in almost an instant. Beer bottles crash down. Jin would grab Myra hand and pull her down under the table. This way, they can avoid anything that might fall on their heads. They aren’t the only ones who were doing it.
Everyone else who wasn’t panicking was doing the same thing. Wine and beer bottles were breaking the moment they hit the floor. The sound of them breaking was ringing in his ears. Jin would use his arms to help cover Myra. Jin, wasn’t too sure what was going on. Earthquake in Kalm, was unheard of.
Most likely cause would be something big going on outside, Jin thought to himself. Jin, looks at Myra and ask “are you OK?” Once the earthquake was over. There was more screaming outside. Jin had gotten out of the table and saw everyone running out of the bar. Jin stay back to help Myra. Suddenly, a monster burst in.
Jin looked over and saw two monsters. Both look like dogs, but having two heads. Jin stand in front of Myra to guard her. Jin took off his glasses and pulled his hair back. Jin pick up a table and thrown it as hard as he could one of the monsters.

Myra made a face when she put her hand on dried up gum. “Ew, Jin, I don’t want to be under here! It’s gross and ruining my dress! This dress cost six hundred gil you know.” She hated being under the table. “Couldn’t you have picked a better spot?” Myra’s eyes widened when the monster came in. She was too beautiful to die! She still had many things she had to do with her life. She needed to travel the world on a luxurious plane. She needed to go on vacation on a fancy beach! She wasn’t ready to die yet! When Jin got up to attack those monsters, Myra felt a flutter go through her. She never knew how attractive Jin was. He was saving her life and fighting. It was like a romance book. Myra lightly fanned herself as she looked at her husband.

The young SOLDIER attack had hit the monster in the eye, but it was all for naught. The moment the bullet had hit the monster, that part of the eye turn to blue smoke, but then it returned to its original form. The monster charged and jumped above the small fireball attack with ease. Coming down with it claws to strike at Manual. If he didn’t move out of the way, Manual face and neck would be cut and instantly killing him. Will Manual stand there to take the hit? Or will he get out of the way? And how Vicks and Lillet reach to their attacks not working?
Reward for killing the six arm: one thread going toward your level up.
Ooc: make sure you put which materia used in a spoiler or quote table next time. It makes it easier for me ^^
The table had hit one of the dogs, but to unveil. The monster turns to smoke and then returns to form again. The two headed dog monsters would attack Jin. One would attack his neck and the other both of his legs if he don’t find a way out. Would this be his death? And will Myra ever get a new dress?
Reward for killing one: one thread toward level up Reward for both kills: two threads.

The Monster shook off the bullet to his eye, and the fire attack had been easily avoided, and now it came after Manuel. Manuel watched as the beast jumped through the air, coming down toward Manuel with it's claws ready. Manuel rolled to the side of the Six-Arms attack, and aimed his hand at the opponent, he had to shoot from the side, or risk the Monster dodging and the attack hitting one of the others.
Blue lightning sparked and crackled around Manuel's hand, as he aimed his magic attack at the monsters ribs. "Thunder." Manuel spoke as a streak of lightning shot from his hand toward the Six-Arms.
Materia: Thunder

Vicks was suprised to see that Lillet had a weapon, and even more suprised that she had materia. He nodded at her though he still wasn't sure what she was capable of. Vicks growled at the freak job monster as his perfectly aimed shot proved to be useless. He looked down at the fire materia slotted into the butstock of his rifle, and he decided against it. Magic made him really tired really fast so that'd be useless. He was no SOLDIER, he would leave the magic to them...
The infantrymen could see that he was not going to have to get creative. Before he could think the monster leaped at Manuel. He saw him begin to cast a thunder spell, maybe he had not seen the creature leaping at him? He couldn't tell.
Vicks pulled out his nife and jumped at the creatures back, he planned to stop it before it could hit Manuel. He was going to stab it and carve along its spinal cord. Maybe a spinal injury would stop its brain from telling it to regenerate?

Lillet gritted her teeth as she watched the beast with six arms easily avoid her fire magic. Frustrating, but not a big deal. Magic had always been Kirielle's strong point, not Lillet's. She felt a little drained from the materia usage. It wouldn't be enough to noticeably hinder her combat capabilities though. It's not like she planned on using it anymore anyway. It was time to put her cherished family heirloom to the test.
The beast quickly closed the distance between itself and the small group. It lunged at Manuel, who got out of the way and counterattacked with thunder magic that he aimed at his chest. At the same time, Duncan was attacking it from behind with a knife. Lillet wasn't sure if they had intended to fight like this, but attacking from all sides was a pretty decent battle strategy. So what if he had six arms? It would still be more difficult for the monster to fight while surrounded.
Lillet examined the beast while he was still airborne, quickly judging the spot where he would hit the ground. She charged at him from the side, sword ready to strike at his legs again. If all went well, the blade would hit his legs right as he landed and trip him up, leaving him open for another attack from Manuel or Duncan. Lillet got the feeling that it wouldn't be that easy, but it was worth a shot.

This was something un-expecting. The flying table Jin had thrown had no effect. It had been a while since Jin had to show this side of himself. The two monsters charge at him without quarter. Jin would grab Myra quickly as he can and jump up and forward into the air. Jin, bend his legs a bit while he would still hold Myra into his arms to keep her from falling.
If Jin make it across from the two monsters. Then he would carry Myra outside. Jin need more space to move around. He wasn’t sure yet if any of his attacks would work. But, he hasn’t tried everything yet. Jin had a few ideas, but time will only tell.
Skill: speed, enhanced strength.

Myra held onto Jin’s neck. His strong chest next to hers. She felt like she was in a movie, not taking in that she could really die. “Oh… Jin…” she muttered, feeling herself swoon. Now that she thought about it, she should be in a movie. She would be a great actress. She would be the hero’s lover and wear a beautiful dress. It would be just like now, but the danger would be fake and she would be famous! Yes! Lights and cameras flashing everywhere! She would be not just the vice president’s wife, but a celebrity! A superstar! She held on tighter to Jin’s neck. He would be her best accessory. Taking him everywhere and showing him off to young girls. She would be the envy of every woman. A dark smile grew on Myra’s face as she thought of the movie she’d be in.
