The city was loud and busy. Everyone was being merry. Drinking, playing games, or just having family time. The sun was down and the moon was up. The sky was being lit up from the fireworks and the bright lights that were decorated on the houses. Games houses were set up everywhere in Kalm.
Getting fish in small nets, test of strengths, and so much more! SOLDIER and Security were set up all over the Kalm and they were loaded. Most of them were annoyed for the fact they had to work, while some others were in a good mood because their shifts have ended and time for play.
At the entrance is first class SOLDIER, Ace. Having short red hair and pale white skin. He has green eyes, and he’s wearing his own clothing not provided by Shinra. He’s wearing a black muscle shirt, and a long white jacket with it sleeves been torn off. Black pants and black combat boots.
His shift is almost over and about to clock out. Suddenly, a large T-rex appeared. The civilians panics. The T-Rex takes a bite onto the first class SOLDIER into his right side of his torso. Ace laughs it off use his legs and arms to force open it mouth. Ace, jumps back and throws a punch. Without even touching the T-rex, it gets sent flying away from Kalm.
Finally, it lands on the ground and it body is cover with cuts. Ace wound from the bite is gone and he smirks. He faces the town. “Sorry about that everyone. I hope you enjoyed the little show!” Ace body turns into a pose. His legs spread out, and his arms crossed. His head held high.
The other Shinra troops all at once and put their put hand on their faces in shame. Ace is known as the most show off in Shinra. After that little incident, everyone went back to enjoying the festival, like nothing had ever happen. Sit back and relax, what could go wrong with even first class SOLDIERs are here?

" show off!" Vicks said as he peered out the bar window. Vicks wondered how the dinosaur had managed to make it into the town. It probably meant that some of the guys on the front post had died. He dumped out the rest of his alcohol and left the bar, he headed down toward the direction the dinosaur had came from. He needed to see if the post was still alive at all and if they needed to be treated for wounds. He didn't care for this pretty boy SOLDIER, he was thankful he had not been assigned to him because if their was one thing Vicks hated more than SOLDIERS it was show off SOLDIERS. He walked very quickly to the front post, pushing piles of dumb civilians out of the way.

Manuel looked on amused as the Soilder dominated a renegade T-Rex. They truly had skill over there in soilder, too bad. The streets were crowded, and Manuel was on duty, running security for the festival. Hopefully something good would happen, then he could prove himself useful to Shinra, and make it into the Turks.
Manuel gazed up at the fireworks in the sky, as children ran and played around the legs of the adults, in the street. Excitement filled their eyes as they ran from game to game, wasting their gil for prizes that could be bought for much less than it took for them to actually win.
In only a little while, Manuel would be off duty and he could relax some where and enjoy the festivities. Something around here ought to be good for killing time.

Jin was dressed in his special suit. His suit he only wears only when he plans to have some fun. Dressed in a black jacket, and white t-shirt. Black jeans and white tennis shoes. This was complelty different from his normal attire. Nothing close to being formal. Today, he wasn’t Jin shinra, the vice president. But he was Jin shinra. Your everyday guy.
Jin look over and saw a T-rex had gotten close to the town, though Ace made quick work on it. Jin didn’t panicked or anything. Jin had high confidants in Ace abilities. Jin then walked off. He had know interest in Ace stupid looking pose. Though, Jin eyes turn and saw a guard moving from his post. “Hey you! Why are you leaving your post,” yelled Jin.
Though, today he doesn’t care too much. He was just curious in why he was leaving and then to move on. The other guards wasn’t moving so was he? The night sky was pleasant to look up at, but sadden to see no stars. Couldn’t be help from the beautiful fireworks and lights. Jin, always love the festival of Kalm.
Most likely all those threats they had gotten were nothing, but just boasting their ego. With all three strongest SOLDIER here, who would dare to come and attack? Maybe they did plan to attack, until those three had entered?

Before the VP had stopped him Vicks radioed a security manager, a man named Manuel. Asking to meet him at his current position.
"Who the..." Duncan thought to himself. He turned and studied the man for a brief few secounds. Despite his informal attire he relized who it was afterward. He was lucky he had held his tongue.
Vicks raised his hand, saluting the vice president and snaping to attention. "Good day sir, I was actually on break but I have come off it to investigate what just happened. The security force still has control of the situation... thanks to SOLDIER... I just need to find out how that thing got in and that no one got hurt, and prevent any further distractions..."
Vicks was still bitter about the SOLDIER raining on his parade... but he knew the big wigs loved them and he had to be careful about what he said around them. He was embarassed at how many times the gaurd force had to fall back on SOLDIER to take care of things.

Manuel watched the many people of the festival enjoy their fun time, while he had to stand around and just watch them. It's not like anyone was going to attack, there were 3 first class SOLDIERS guarding the perimeter and plenty of guards inside the event.
Bored with the job Manuel began to play a song slowly in his head, You're the best, AROUND! No ones ever gonna keep me down!" forgetting the rest of the words, Manuel simply repeated the line over and over in his head. Slowly starts moving begining to tapping his foot. after awhile he throws in a little shoulder movement, and bobs his head up and down, feeling the groove of the song.
Manuel was so into his song that he almost didn't hear the call over his radio. "I'm the best-er sorry I got distracted, be there in a tick." DAMN! Short attention span strikes again, Manuel hurried off stopping in front of Vicks. "Here, whats up."

“Well OK, but they got orders to let Ace take of care of things that are too much for them to handle while he’s working.” As black imbued black, so was rendered the pitch of darkness that befogged this godforsaken yard of graves and too the dank, ‘til now forgotten chapel that Jin little to grace these forlorn grounds.
Yet here stood Jin, seemingly first to tread this weed-ridden soil since times of yore when life had erstwhile blessed this land. But for being lost in solitude - as does a country wanderer would Jin not have happened across this morbid landscape. Jin eyes moved onto another guy who had just arrived. “Sorry you guys have to work today, but no rest for wicked, eh?”
Jin eyes wonder again and came across a small child. Child of innocence, Jin miss those sunny days. Who used to joyously frolicked in extended plays, but Jin was an adult had his own. He had more important things to worry about and to do. Though, none of that matter now.

"Yes sir, we just need to make sure all our posts are manned. SOLDIER can't be everywhere at once and we are ShinRa's eyes and ears... I have a bad feeling that some of sentries may have been killed and if thats the case then we need to get more troops down there..." Corporal Vicks said respectfully to the president. Then noticing Manuel, he turned to him.
"Whats going on with the dino situation? I thought they hired people to get rid of them... do you know if any troops got hurt, or any of your police forces?" Vicks asked.

Manuel looked over at the man in front of Corporal Vicks, recognizing him immediatly. Jin Shinra, the man not quite in charge of Shinra. It was an honor to most, but Manuel couldn't see what the big deal was. He was important yeah, but was he the reason they were all there? He could handle himself, or so Manuel had heard.
Turning back to Corporal Vicks, Manuel responded I hear that, while they killed some of the dino's one of the big ones got away, smart one from what science department said. I think a few of the men were scarred but Soilder up there took it out before it got anyone with any real attack."

Vicks frowned at Mr. Lopez, not because it was really bad news but because Vicks was dying to kill something.
"Very well, thank you for comming I guess I could have just asked over the radio. But the towns small anyways and I hate talking on those things, having to repeat myself over and over. I guess I was just on my toes for nothing really. I will be taking post at the front so maybe I get to kill something today, i'll be in contact if your boys need back up..." Vicks said in a fast windy way, being around the vice president made him nervous.
He quickly walked toward the front of the town, climbing onto a roof top that had a clear veiw of the countryside. His guys would not be embarassed by some fancy spoiled SOLDIER again even if he had to be on post himself for the rest of the night.

Manuel wasn't sure why Vicks seemed so upset, everyone was fine, which Manuel was sure he found to be good news, and the t-rex was gone. Whatever, Manuel thought as he walked away, it was his break now, meaning it was time to go have some fun. After a quick little, half-hearted salute to Jin, Manuel went off to see what the festival had to offer in terms of games.
There were lots of children's games, catching gold fish and what not, and test of strength games, which Manuel enjoyed from time to time, but nothing really stood out at the moment. Overall, Manuel found very little excitement left in himself. Something was bound to happen soon, he just had to wait.
Manuel headed to the bar around town, deciding to get a little something to loosen up before he hit the town again, not much just a drink or two. After all Manuel didn't like to get drunk, it wasn't his thing.

Jin yawn a bit and then moved on. Vick’s, seem annoyed anytime the subject went to SOLDIER. Security and SOLDIER rivalry, sheesh, Jin thought to himself. Jin look around Kalm a bit and started to play some games. He played a card game with some youngsters. Playing the game, “go fish” and then after a while he had switches to UNO.
He enjoyed himself a little but and then moved on. He found himself in an area filled with some books. He mainly stays there for a while to browse through some picks of books. He even started reading some here and there and then payed for the books and moved on.
Jin walked down the street and saw that one grunt from before, watching out. Jin wave to Vicks a bit and move on down the street. He found the test of strength. He had won a few times and then gotten bored. Though, people around him clapped.
Jin had hope Myra would arrive soon. This would be the perfect time for the two to appear as the perfect couple and to spend time with each other. Jin was using her, but it didn’t mean he didn’t enjoy her company.

Myra Shinra walked up to her husband, wearing her most expensive dress and having her makeup done best. "I always like festivals," she said, kissing her husband's cheek. She wrapped her arm around Jin's arm and smiled at him. She was wearing a brighter red lipstick than she normally wore to make herself stand out more. Many young, attractive men were there and she wanted to look her best for them. Who said older women weren't pretty? She looked back at Jin. "Such a nice night, isn't it, My Darling?" She ignored the others around her, knowing that they were nothing compared to her. Why should she talk to someone who was below her? They were only toys and servants. Nothing more. The only friends she had were the ones that had money to buy her nice gifts. “Jin, I’m thirsty. I would like something to drink,” she said, looking up at him with puppy eyes. A nice cocktail would do. Or maybe some whine. Something rich in taste and sweet. Preferably alcoholic.

Jin had smile and he was a lot more relax than he’s normally is. His mood was high and giving. Though, he wishes Myra didn’t wear that outfit. Too much revealing for his taste to a place like this. He didn’t let it get to me and reply to his wife “Very well, Myra. You find the bar and choose whatever you desire to drink.”
Jin was going to let his wife lead him and he would follow to whatever place she take him. Jin had wonder what kind of drink will she will force him to buy. Knowing Myra, it was going to cost Jin hugely in his pocket. That also including buying her presents.
More fireworks shot out into the sky and Jin watched with passion. “I hope you enjoy the festival, Myra. Also, I have bought a few new books. Maybe later we can read them together,” asked JIn.

Vicks did not see Mr. Shinra wave to him, he had become lost in thought while on his post. He had been so angry because the SOLDIER had stolen what could have been a heroic feat for his younger troops, and the SOLDIER effortlessly handled the situation with out even trying. Vicks shook his head, Shinra had pretty much dominated the world and their would be no wars fought on a grand scale like in Wutai. The only excitement left would be hunting down terrorists... but they were to afraid when the SOLDIER's were around. Maybe it was selfish, but Vicks didn't care about civilians... he didn't care about shinra for that matter, he only cared about his fellow infantrymen and himself.
Sighing, Vicks gazed around through the crowds of happy people. They all came to have a good time, the disgusting things were more than likely just being used to profit some off the wall shinra project.
He peered at the tallest tower in Kalm, staring into its windows intently. Something about it put him off.

Ah Kalm, what was normally a pretty quiet town was now bustling with activity for the festival that Shinra was holding. ‘It’s so lively here!’ thought Lillet as she glanced here and there with wide eyes. She had never been to Kalm before, and already she thought it was a welcome change to the slums of Midgar that she had been stuck in for the past couple of days. The search for whatever Grandma wanted her to find in Midgar could wait. It wouldn’t hurt anything to put it off until the festivities were over.
It was a shame that Kirielle wasn’t there with her. Kirielle probably would have loved this festival with all of the games and music. Lillet heaved a sigh at the thought. Great, now she was homesick. ‘I think I’ll write a letter to Grandma and Kirielle when I get back to Midgar. I hope they’re doing alright without me.’ Lillet was obviously still unaware of the fact that her sister had run away from home.
“Oh!” She perked up as an idea popped into her head. Maybe she could win a prize and send it back it Mideel with the letter. It sounded like fun. It also gave her an excuse to blow some of her gil on the various games that littered the street without sounding to childish. Lillet chuckled to herself before running off into the streets to find a game to try her luck at.

Manuel was sitting in the corner of the bar, alone. He had apparently had a little more alcohol than he planned, as he had tried to stand up a few times only to stumble back into his chair. However, he figured he was good enough to walk again, it would not be long until he grew bored with watching all these severely drunk bar goers being overly friendly with each other. Manuel rose to his feet and felt a little bit of a tilt to his walk, but was just fine to be up.
Manuel walked over to the bar and sat down there to recover just a little bit more. The festival was going on outside, and he was wasting all his time in this place, eventually he wanted to go out and play a few games. It would still be a bit longer until he was able to make it outside though Manuel felt. Instead he ordered a little food to eat while he killed a little time.

Vicks was still concentrating on the tower when an annoying beeping sound went off in his helmet. His shift was about to end. He climbed down from his rooftop post and another troop came to him.
"You are relieved, go have a good time." The guard said, and made his way up to Vicks post.
Vicks sighed, he was hoping to see some action here. He removed his helmet and the sun began to shine directly into his eyes, making them sting for the first couple of seconds. He wasn't going to get out of uniform completely, some of the best fights came when you let your guard down. None the less he slung his rifle across his back and moved throughout the town.
Usually festival games did not catch Duncan's eye, but as he made his way toward the bar he saw a "Milk Bottle Throw" game. It reminded him of when he would collect beer bottles in sector 7 and lob baseballs at them.
He chuckled, giving Gil to the grotesque looking man with a unibrow running the game, and he was handed 3 balls to hit the 5 rows of bottles down. Vicks reeled his arm back and pelted a stack of bottles with the ball, knocking it and another stack down. He confidently threw another, again knocking down two stacks.
Their was only one stack left, Vicks winded his arm back and got ready to throw the ball...

Manuel, didn't mean to yell, but that didn't change the fact that he did, very loud into his radio. HEY, VICKS! IS THIS VICKS? YOU OFF DUTY YET? WANNA HANG OUT A LITTLE?" Manuel wasn't drunk, not even close anymore, but it was fun to mess with people. This was another of Manuel's favorite pastimes along with busting the occasional random dance move. Vicks wouldn't be too mad...Manuel didn't think, after all the worst that could of happened was that it scared him a little.
Manuel finished whatever was left of his food and waited for a reply from Vicks, it didn't seem like there was going to be anything interesting happening today, even if it was the festival. After all, the troops and soldiers had matters all tied up. Manuel wasn't sure when he had to go back on duty but he hoped it wasn't soon. Despite being and adult, he still enjoyed the festival and especially the kid games for some reason.

As Vicks was mid throw of his prize winning ball his helmet on the table practically jumped because of how loud someone had yelled into the radio. He lost concentration and the ball missed, bouncing off the wall and into the hordes off people moving through the crowd.
Vicks got the message, he wondered how many unlucky troops were wearing their helmets right now going deaf from the chatter over the channel. He chuckled, just a bit peeved that he had lost his line up... the prize was worthless anyways, most likely a stuffed animal or something like that. He picked up his helmet and spoke into the transmitter.
"I'm off, you made me lose my fluffy stuffed bunny ass hole." Vicks said jokingly. "I'm at the plaza..." he finished.

Manuel laughed at the thought of Vicks hugging a furry rabbit doll, the ridiculous image vanished instantly as Manuel shook off the foolish image. Obviously he had done more drinking than he thought, deciding to call Vicks over the whole radio was probly not the best idea. Oh, well Manuel thought as he walked, out of the bar, maybe Vicks would be worth talking to for awhile. If not maybe they could atleast find something interesting to do.
The streets were no less crowded than when Manuel had entered the bar, and the time seemed not to have passed much either. How long was he in there? It wasn't long before he found Vicks, the bar man seemed to be loitering by the ball game, maybe Manuel would try his hand at it.
Waving to Vicks Manuel walked toward him, a smile across his face. "Hey, how's it goin'? enjoying the break?" VIcks seemed to be only slightly upset about the matter, anyone would after losing a game for such a reason. Manuel picked up a ball that was sitting on the counter of the booth and began tossing it into the air, and catching it repeatedly.
