[NPC MASTER]

The moment Vicks had touch the body of the six arm monster, its body turned to smoke again. The lightning attack had missed the monster completely and had hit Vicks instead. Lillet’s sword missed and only hit the smoke. Though, Manual was saved from the monster claws, for now. Can the three regroup and work as a team? Or will their team work keep messing them up and chaotic? What is the monster’s weakness?

The vice President had made it through, but his pants legs gotten torn from one of the heads of the monster. Once outside, you see buildings on fire. People running around like a chicken’s head had been cut off. The two monsters with two heads had gotten out of the bar and followed the president. Can the president fight back against these enemies? Will Myra’s mind get out of the gutter? Or perhaps she will get eaten from the monsters and never become a movie star?

[Vicks]

Vicks was about to sink his knife into the monsters back when he inhaled a good deal of smoke. Before he could cough it out he saw a flash of light and his body became jolted and he felt stiff for a few moments. The electronic readings on all of his gear went awry... his hair stood up on the top of his head.

Vicks recovered and peered around, looking for the monster. Vicks was getting pretty pissed off.

[impulse]

The monster had turned to smoke, causing all attacks to miss, Manuel's attack failing the worst. He had tried to avoid hitting his allies with the lightning, but Vicks jumping at the monster was rather counter productive. Lillet had missed when the monster turned to smoke and dissapeared again. Just what was this thing? Manuel put his hands back in his pockets and stood still, there was nothing they could do until the monster reformed. In the mean time Manuel took the time to focus. The monster seemed immune to most attacks, but it had to have some kind of weakness.

Manuel looked to Lillet and shrugged, wondering if she had any ideas. Vicks seemed to be pissed off, the combination of the monster constantly dissapearing and the lightning strike would anger anyone. Any ideas here, Because I am stumped."

[Lillet]

Well, that hadn’t gone too well. Not a single attack found its target. Lillet managed to get lucky; she didn’t accidently slice either of her allies or get hit by their attacks. How long would this supposed luck last though? They were up against a beast with six arms who could turn into smoke at will, and they hadn’t even managed to dent it. How were they supposed to take him down? They needed a new strategy and fast.

“Unless one of you have some way to paralyze him, I’ve got nothing.” Lillet moved to stand next to Manuel and Duncan. She held her sword in a defensive position and kept her eyes peeled for when the monster reformed. There had to be something they were missing.

“Are you alright Duncan?” Lillet asked as she wracked her brain to think of a way to gain the upper hand. Her eyes dashed around the small restaurant, not only looking for the monster, but for some kind of inspiration as well. ‘There’s got to be something around here we can use.’ Suddenly, she found herself looking at a table that hadn’t been toppled over by the escaping crowd. Sitting on the table was a full pitcher of water that whoever had been sitting there hadn’t touched. There was a lid on the pitcher that had kept the water in during the earthquake. Her eyes widened at the sight. It was a long shot, but the group was a bit pressed for ideas. Now wasn’t the time to be picky.

“I think I have an idea,” Lillet said in a low voice. She didn’t know whether or not their target understood English, or even if it could hear anything at all while transformed into smoke. The girl didn’t feel like taking any chances though. “I can’t guarantee anything, but it’s all I have to work with right now. Either Duncan or myself will have to run a distraction when the monster reforms. Whoever does it wouldn’t have to hold his attention for very long, just long enough for the other two to carry out the plan. We can’t actually attack him though. He might decide to turn into smoke again if we do that,” she explained.

Lillet motioned to the table she saw earlier with the water on it. It wasn’t that far away, only about fifteen feet to the side. The girl took a deep breath before continuing. “Whoever doesn’t distract the monster will run over and grab the water on that table over there. This is where Manuel comes in. You need to get ready to use your lightning magic again. We’re going to need timing to pull it off, but we’ll need to throw the water at the beast and then fry him immediately afterward before he can react,” she finished. Lillet thought about what she had said. Hopefully they didn’t think it was too farfetched to work. To be perfectly honest, she had doubts as well.

[Genocide]

Jin put down Myra. He knew if he was going to these monsters down. He was going to need her help. He would grab her right hand with his. His left hand around her waist. He stares at her face and smile. “Fighting can be consider as a form of dancing. Just follow my lead and follow my orders. Together, we’re going to defeat them,” said Jin assuring Myra.

Jin would face the monsters and prepare for anything they might do. Jin wasn’t sure how this was going to work out. In his head, he already had this fight plan out. Jin extend his arm and would Myra’s. What did he know already about this monster? His last attack was a flying table, but it didn’t work at all.

It would through it like air. Does this mean it can change it to smoke at will? Or did it mean long range attacks didn’t work? Or maybe, no physical attacks at all. Then that would mean, Materia would work on it? Or it didn’t affect it either? Many questions were in Jin mind on how this fight was going to lead.

Jin started to slow dance with Myra and waited for the monster. He was going to try and find out. Once they attack, it going to be a combination of both physical attacks close range, and Materia attacks.

[puppyrus]

“Oh, Jin, how did you become so romantic?” Myra asked, feeling her heart flutter. “I will follow you anywhere.” She grabbed his hand and nodded to obey his instructions. She felt like she was falling in love all over again. She felt like she could trust him, unlike the other times. He has confidence now. She thought about charming the monster to make it a pet, but the monster was too ugly to be a pet. Why would she want it as a pet? She wanted something fluffy like a cat or a dog. “Jin, can we get a puppy?” She asked, wide eyes. Something to lick her face and keep her company. A small little dog she can dress up and carry around in a doggy purse. It would be adorable!

[NPC MASTER]

While the three were making their plans and getting ideas. The six arm monster reform itself. The six foot tall monster stands directly in the center of the room. The monster roared and its six arms would stretch at out like rubber. One of the arms is going for their throats. While the other arms going for their stomach. To use it claws to penetrate through. Some of the remaining civilians inside the restaurant. Some still hiding in the bathrooms. Hoping it will go away and leave them alone. Time is ticking, and with only little time. Can their plan work out with teamwork, or will it fail like before?


While the couple stand dances and talk. The two monsters’ bodies merge together and turn into a large form and now having four heads and four tails. Becoming slightly taller. The monster attacks and if the couple don't anything. They be ripped to shreds in an instant from it fangs and claws.

[Lillet]

Lillet’s head snapped in the direction the monster appeared in. Just great, she hadn’t even gotten any feedback on her idea. Neither Manuel nor Duncan had come up with anything else, so Lillet figured that she had to take initiative on this one. Time was of the essence. “Wish me luck,” Lillet said before ducking out of the way of the arms that were aimed at her.

“Hey you! What’s the matter? Don’t tell me that’s all you’ve got!” the girl hollered at the six armed monster as she ran to the other side of the restaurant. She held her sword out in front of her and stood in a defensive stance. If her plan was to succeed, Lillet knew that she couldn’t attempt to strike the beast for fear of it turning back into smoke. All she had to do was get its attention away from the others.

With her free hand she grabbed an empty glass on the table next to her and tossed it toward the monster’s feet. It didn’t actually hit, but the sound of shattering glass pierced through the noise caused from the battle and rang through the small building. “You heard me! How about taking me on one-on-one? You’re not TOO scared are you?” Lillet taunted while still trying to get the monster’s attention. ‘I hope this works. There’s no way I can take this thing on by myself. Please hurry guys...’ A false smirk spread across Lillet’s face in order to mask her fear and uncertainty.

[Vicks]

Vicks nodded and ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bucket full of mop water. He walked quickly out, careful not to spill any on himself and attempted to get close enough to the monster.

"Now Manuel!" Vicks said as he quickly threw the water out of the bucket, in the direction of the monster. He hoped this worked, he didn't have any ideas of what he could really do to hurt something that turned into smoke.

Vicks turned around and ran to take cover behind one of the tables. He did not want to get shocked again or disemboweled.

[impulse]

The monster had reformed and launched it's claws out at all of them. No rest in a battle, Manuel thought as he quickly side stepped the arms again. Manuel didn't like the idea of anyone being a distraction, unless it was him. However, his materia was needed, thus there was no choice, with a quick prayer for the groups safety Manuel got ready to attack.

Lillet had the monster distracted, and Vicks had thrown the water, Manuel made certain his shot would not hit Lillet, extending his hand toward the Monster Manuel shot off another Thunder at the monster. Hopefully this would end the fight, but Manuel didn't see that happening, if anything it would do a good amount of damage.

[Genocide]

If Myra would let Jin lead. He would keep waiting until the monster is about to strike.“Raise your foot up once I spin you.” Jin would spin around, carrying Myra a bit while spinning. If she did what she was told, her foot would make contact on the monster. Maybe lunching the monster if the physical attacks work.

After words, Jin would keep dancing and thought up a plan for another attack and prepare for the beast counter attack. “We haven’t danced together in years. Jin hands would keep where they are. Jin body close to Myra and able to feel her hot breath against his skin. His eyes aren’t fully on her though.

Keeping an eye on the monster mainly. Hoping the kick would work. If not, then he had an idea what attacks did. But, what are they? Jin wasn’t sure. Though, he thought maybe there was a ring leader somewhere close.

[puppyrus]

Myra nodded and did what Jin said, listening to his every word. “You’re so romantic now,” she said, taking a deep breath.
She hadn’t danced with Jin in ages. She felt so relieved to finally be able to dance with him like they did in old times. These days, he was too caught up in work to even pay attention to her. “I know, we haven’t done anything together for quite some time.”
She was so wrapped up with Jin that she wasn’t aware of her surroundings. She just did what Jin said to do, and trusted him.

[NPC MASTER]

The monster attacks missed. With everyone running away before it hit, the monster turns to the girl. Despite her words, it couldn’t understand her. The monster arms stay extended and the monster started to spin around where it stands. Having it claws almost reach the wall. The monster then started to spin around. If Vicks and Manual kept their attack, the monster would get wet and get hit by the lightning attack. Making it body turns to ash. But, they get hit by it claws and end up having some life threatening injuries. If Lillet do not move as well, she could get herself killed from it claws. Though, if she does move, it claws ends up hitting a mother with a child in her arms. The monster claws would kill them both. Even if Vicks and Manual takes the hit, it would be not enough time to stop it from hitting the two innocents.

The two couples did manage to get away from it attack. But not without Jin taking some damage to his leg. After Myra attack has hit; the monster turns to smoke and then return to normal form again. The monster turns around and try to strike again.

[impulse]

Manuel was surprised when the monster began his next attack, spinning around with his arms extended. The beast was becoming like a terrifying tornado. Manuel had to keep up his attack, but the claws were dangerous. The attacks had to hit, there was no telling what would happen if the fight continued, and Manuel and Vicks being injured wouldn't help much either.

Surveying the situation Manuel grew concerned about Lillet and Vicks. Were they gonna be able to get away from the attack too? And Lillet appeared to have a difficult situation on her end. Manuel sent up a quick prayer for their safety. Manuel had to do it, he dodged the monsters attack, working hard to keep his attack going as he dodged.

[Vicks]

Vicks carried through with his action and realized he was going to get hit if he didn't move, worse Lillet and Manuel were in danger too.

Vicks couldn't think strait, he saw that Manuel was dodging so his attention was on the claw moving toward Lillet and the civillians. He quickly cast FIRE at the hand approaching her, and braced himself for impact of the incoming claw. He had taken his fair share of blows, he didn't think this would be his last. The fire spell had a draining effect, giving Vicks a tingling headache.

[Lillet]

Apparently Lillet wasn’t too great at being a decoy, because the monster wasn’t focusing on her at all. It started to spin, sending its arms out once again to strike down her and her allies. So much for THAT plan.

There wasn’t time to sit around and sulk about it. Lillet prepared to jump out of the way once more. However, something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye right as she was about to leap out of the way. Behind her stood a mother and child. Lillet froze at the sight of them. What were they doing there? Why was it that she hadn’t noticed them before? This wasn’t good at all.

“Why are you just standing there? This place is dangerous!” Lillet frantically told them. There wasn’t any time to think about it. The girl raced toward them without thinking. Perhaps she should have been paying more attention. The bear that she had been planning to spend to her sister came loose from her belt and dropped right in front of her. Lillet’s foot came down hard on the stuffed toy, and the smooth fabric it was made up combined with her momentum caused her to skid across the floor and land on her face. While she might have been low enough to the ground to avoid the arm that was aimed at her, there was no time to get up and push the mother and child out of the way.

[Genocide]

Jin whisper to Myra. “When I tell you, we jump into the opposite directions and throw a Materia attack on the monster at the same time. Jin kept dancing with Myra. Keeping his eye on the monster. Waiting for it to get just close enough for the two to make their attack. While waiting, he dances with Myra in the chaos around them.

Jin wanted the perfect time for it the two to attack. This way, there be no ways for it to react. Jin knew the two needed to be in sync for it to work. Any other way would only get them kill. Once the monster had gotten close “ NOW!” Jin had let go and jump backwards. Then, using his materia know as water. Sending a burst of water toward the monster.

Sends out a weak burst of water from the user palm. Able to only knock them back about five feet.

Myra followed Jin’s orders. “Okay, Darling.”
She moved right when Jin said now to where he wanted her to go. She went to the opposite direction of Jin and used her thunder materia.

Thunder
Shoots out a lightning attack from above. The lightning attack is fairly weak.


Although she could have used charm, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to waste it on a monster like this yet, due to her level of experience.
She could have also tried her destruct materia, but right now, thunder seemed like the best option for this.
She hoped this would work and not fail at using this power. She trusted Jin in hopes that he knew what he was doing. She didn't want the monster after her now, but she wanted to help her husband.

[NPC MASTER]

Manuel managed to get away from the monster claws. The claws only ended up hitting nothing but the chairs and tables around the room, ripping things around apart as they hit. Vicks is a different matter in a whole. The monster attack hit Vicks into his stomach and went right through. Blood splatters onto the monster claws. Some of Vicks blood splatter against the wall and chairs nearby. Though with his endurance, he is able to move around him a little and live. But who knows how long that will last? If now, he doesn’t do something about his hole in stomach. Not only that, the monster shows no interest of leaving his stomach. His efforts were not so much in vain. While the monster claws miss Lillet, the claws still went toward the girl and mother. The mother turns around to protect her child. The monster claws only scratch the mother back. Before it had gone deeper, Vicks attack hand land on the claw. The whole arm-had turned to ash. Leaving it five claws arms left. Three on the right side and two on the left. The mother and child quickly ran out of the room. Having only minor claws marks on her back. How will they counter attack?

The couple movements were in sync. While it may seem silly and odd to dance at this time. They end up being successful. The successfully dodge the attack and their combination became a success. Both attacks had hit and destroyed the monster. Making it turned to dust. Just a little down the road where the two can clearly see. Is a woman with a small child in her arms running out of a building. She seems to have three claw marks on her. Will they go and see what’s going on? Will they try to help the women? Or will they ignore it all together?

[impulse]

Manuel turned to see how everyone else was doing, and anger began to rise up in him. Vicks was laying on the ground, his blood splattered over the bar, he was alive, but Manuel wasn't sure how much longer it would be so. "Lillet, get Vicks out of here if you don't mind, and I suggest you do it fast." Manuel held his arms out towards the Monster as Fire began to run up both his arms.

Fire launched out of his arms, heading toward the monster, and what was left of the surrounding area. He was gonna burn this whole place down, the monster was going to die here and now, if it was the last thing Manuel did. The bar would soon be engulfed in flames, as Manuel's fire burned strong.
